Volker Bromund has over 20 years of experience in various positions as a corporate banker for Deutsche Bank AG. During the last ten years, he developed his Green Banking/ Sustainable Finance Development expertise. One of his projects included developing subsidised loans for EE investments. Further, he is a trainer and speaker at the Renewable Academy in Berlin on investment issues. He has vast experience in credit, corporate banking/finance and has worked for Deutsche Bank in Germany, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Indonesia (for over ten years). After leaving Deutsche Bank in 2010, he started his own consultancy company in Jakarta, advising clients on financing solutions. He developed specific expertise in renewable energy and energy efficiency financing structures and advised governments, government institutions, and development agencies in the ASEAN region on sustainable finance issues.
