Pertiwi-Consulting collaborates with ADB, The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of National Development Planning and the Regional Development of Planning Board (Bappeda) of Denpasar City on the Street Lighting Project. Starting in November 2020, Dr. Verena Streitferdt has been assisting in developing a Preliminary Study for LED Street Lights using the PPP Scheme.
The project is linked to the Regional Long Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of Denpasar City 2021-2026 to improve the quality of infrastructure. Besides that, the development of this project is to support the City of Denpasar not only in accelerating the infrastructure development to provide maximum service to the community but also in security and road traffic safety problems. By using the PPP scheme of the National Development Ministry, the City Government is trialling an alternative financing model that collaborates with the private sector.
Public consultation for this project was held on 14 October 2021, located at Bali Legislative Council (DPRD) Building, with the Head of Bappeda Denpasar City, I Putu Wisnu Wijaya Kusuma, as one of the key speakers.
The street lighting project is currently developing the Outline Business Case (OBC) before entering market sounding by mid of this year. The construction is planned to start in January 2023.
