With 2026 production targets lowered to match smelter capacity and stabilise the global prices, mining companies face a new competitive landscape. Gaining production quotas and market preference now relies not just on scale, but also on transparency and credibility.

With stricter rules like the EU Battery Regulation and tougher LME standards, Indonesian producers must now demonstrate strong ESG readiness.
