Happy Balinese Silence Day 2024

In welcoming the Caka New Year, Hindus in Indonesia, especially on the Bali island, celebrate a series of traditional Holy Day of Silence or Nyepi ceremonies. One of the activities is carrying out Catur Bratha Penyepian, where all people on the island of Bali will remain silent doing asceticism and refrain from working, recreation, and using fires or electricity. This also includes the cessation of all transportation activities entering and leaving the island of Bali.

Can you imagine the amount of carbon emission reduction in one day, especially in Bali as a prominent tourist destination in Indonesia? As a sustainable consulting company with a focus on climate change, we want to challenge you to reduce your carbon emissions as well but not just for one day. We aim to ensure our solutions and advice are sustainable, which will create a beneficial impact on the environment.

Let us celebrate this auspicious day of silence by listening to nature and reflecting our action towards the earth as our home. We wish you a blessed Nyepi Day 2024.
