Collaborating for a Sustainable Future: Tri Hita’s Consulting Advisory Board Meeting 2024

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our biannual Advisory Board meeting for 2024!  This gathering brought together our esteemed board members, industry experts, and thought leaders to discuss and strategise the future of sustainable consulting. The topic of this meeting was focused around human resources: how to stay  competitive and a desirable employer.

The meeting was opened with a general sharing on climate change and sustainability topics. We gained interesting insights that climate change is becoming more tangible, as evidenced by rising real estate prices due to location factors in the US and increasingly severe and unpredictable floods and rains in Jakarta. Furthermore, the EU is currently concentrating on the implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and new hydrogen regulations that oversee ammonia imports. In terms of sustainable finance, the EU remains focused on implementing the Green Finance Deal, with no new developments to report.

Also, we gathered great insights regarding HR that will help shape our strategy moving forward. We should take measures to anticipate the cycle of work, such as adjusting contract lengths, core personnel vs freelancers and also work with local and international universities (e.g.,internship program). To stay an attractive employer, Tri Hita could potentially offer internships in the EU or ASEAN and provide international staff exposure.

We are deeply grateful to our Advisors for the fruitful discussions. Their contributions are instrumental in shaping our future development and ensuring that we remain a progressive, attractive, and sustainable employer in Indonesia. Terima kasih!
