Celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science!

Women in science are driving progress, fostering innovation, and shaping solutions for a sustainable future. To mark this special day, Divine, Karensa, and Aurel shared their thoughts on the vital role of women in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“The SDGs call for urgent, systemic change—yet science, the very tool we need, remains unequal. Women in science are driving impact, developing innovative solutions, and shaping equitable policies, yet their contributions are often overlooked. A sustainable future depends on diverse and equal perspectives, so let’s close the gap and celebrate their achievements!”

Divine Ifransca Wijaya – Climate Change, Carbon, and GHG Consultant

Empowering women not only advances scientific knowledge by bringing diverse perspectives and innovative approaches to research, but also ensures that sustainable development efforts are inclusive, equitable, and effective.”

Karensa Nanda Putri Kisworo – Junior GHG Management Consultant

As an HR, my responsibilities include making sure our company is proactively eliminating disparities between genders, and offering professional growth programs designed specifically to assist female STEM professionals. I do believe that enabling gender diversity in science is the key to driving the innovations needed to tackle global sustainability challenges.
